The After Nine (A9) Groups are a 12-Step fellowship. A9 is in fact a "cross-fellowship" fellowship - that is, members of any 12-Step fellowship can attend A9 meetings.

The focus of A9 meetings is Steps 10, 11 and 12 of the AA and other 12-Step programs. As the AA Big Book says after Step 9, We have entered the world of the Spirit. Our next function is to grow in understanding and effectiveness. This is not an overnight matter. It should continue for our lifetime.

The first A9 meeting was held in 2005.

The only requirement for membership of the A9 Groups is membership of at least one other Twelve-Step program.
